FMS NY/NJ Chapter Holds Annual Installation Dinner-Dance
2022-2023 Chapter Officers Installed at Gala Ceremonial Event

A gathering of Chapter Past Presidents, event sponsors and invited guests joined current Chapter Members to welcome the incoming slate of 2022-2023 Chapter Officers at the Chapter’s traditional installation ceremony. The gala event was held at Il Villaggio in Carlstadt, N.J. on Friday May 6, 2022. Attendees enjoyed a festive cocktail reception that preceded the formal program featuring a fine selection of specialty appetizers and an open bar while everyone savored a relaxed social experience. The formal program was capped off by a lavish full-course dinner followed by an evening of dancing and desserts!

Incoming Chapter President, Angelo DiCaro, welcomed everyone to the event and thanked the Chapter’s Members and sponsors for their valuable support. Following the recital of the Pledge of Allegiance, Fr. Matthew Kranc of St. Rose of Lima Parish in East Hanover, N.J. provided a solemn invocation offering a special payer for the incoming Officers and for the Chapter’s continued success.

Angelo introduced Immediate Past Chapter President Amy Wheatley who provided a champagne toast to offer best wishes to the slate of Officers and thanking each of the Officers for their support during her tenure in office.
​
Angelo then introduced Alana Vartanian, President and CEO of FMS National. Alana thanked the Chapter’s leadership for their support and for the vital role that the NY/NJ Chapter has played in the success of FMS. Alana announced the following slate of Chapter Officers for the 2022-2023 fiscal year:

Alana welcomed the incoming candidates for Chapter Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.to the floor. After conducting the joint installation ceremony, Alana asked Angelo DiCaro to stand in front of the Membership and formally installed him as Chapter President. Members and guests offered the Chapter’s new leadership team warm applause and congratulations.

Angelo DiCaro provided his initial address as incoming Chapter President. He noted the challenges the Chapter leadership has faced while he has been an Officer due to the pandemic. He emphasized the importance of Member participation and the steps that the Chapter will need to take to expand the Chapter membership in light of industry consolidation. Angelo thanked his fellow Officers, the Membership, sponsors, and his family for making this night possible. Angelo closed by sincerely thanking the author, Dave Lauwe for his dependability and contributions to the Chapter’s success over the years.
