Members enjoyed the Chapter’s first “in-person” event in more than 16 months marking the first step of a return to normalcy following the adverse effects of the Coronavirus pandemic. The event was held at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack, NJ on Thursday June 10, 2021. The Stony Hill Inn, which has served as the home for Chapter events for well over a decade, is scheduled to close shortly. This will likely be the last event Chapter Members will enjoy at this historic landmark.

A relaxed atmosphere in an outdoor setting under comfortable weather conditions provided Members the perfect opportunity to socialize with colleagues, catch up on all that was missed while in “virtual’ quarantine and experience the return to life as “normal”. The event featured an open bar with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres served by the expert staff at the Stony Hill Inn.

Amy Wheatley, incumbent Chapter President, introduced the new slate of Chapter Officers for the upcoming fiscal year. Joe Murphy from Spencer Savings Bank was introduced as the incoming Chapter Secretary and will join the current Officers. Amy also introduced Suny Mellawa as the incoming Chapter President. Amy thanked all those who attended the event and noted the Chapter will announce the schedule of events for the upcoming year soon beginning with the Chapter’s Annual Golf Outing on August 19 at the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, NJ.
